aws automation wölbern sauermann gmbH & co. kg from Osterrönfeld automates systems and machines for industry and trade (baked goods, bakery products, confectionery, grains, pizza, animal feed, etc.).

The product range includes everything for dough production from silos, small and medium component weighing systems, sourdough systems, poolish systems, residual bread mixers, yeast dissolvers, scales in a wide variety of designs, through to complex recipe control with mixer connection and dough maker guidance, as well as interfaces to all common baking program and mixer manufacturers.

The company founder and managing director Kai Sauermann reports on his experiences with the SelectLine software and VIEBROCK DatenService.

VIEBROCK: “Mr. Sauermann, you have been working with SelectLine programs since 2002, how did you decide on SelectLine software back then?”

Mr. Sauermann: “After founding the company in 2000, we initially worked with a simple program, but this was unable to adequately map our processes, so we looked around for a better solution. SelectLine was recommended to us and we were immediately impressed. Merchandise management and the linked accounting system are clear and easy to use. The system is customizable and can also map our special features.”

VIEBROCK: “After almost 20 years of working with SelectLine products, what is your current focus?”

Mr. Sauermann: “We have just completed 2 projects. SelectLine MDE was introduced in the warehouse to record incoming and outgoing goods with scanners. The employees are coping very well with it, our structures have improved significantly, the stock levels are correct and post-calculation has also been refined. It also saves time, as the receipts are printed automatically once scanning is complete.

The second project involved the introduction of a document management system and was very important to us. What was important to us here was the audit security provided by the docuvita document management system and the link to SelectLine merchandise management. All documents are now stored digitally in docuvita.

The Viebrock team implemented the projects at a rapid pace and everything went smoothly.”
