Pilzgarten GmbH – Report

In 1996, the Fima started as a one-man business – at that time under the name of Pilzfarm – in Helvesiek.

The decision was quickly made for an environmentally friendly production method. Therefore, the organic mushrooms are bred consistently from the first day in accordance with organic farming.

The company Pilzgarten GmbH joined the Naturland Verband in 1997. The company itself has been Global Gap certified since 2004 and is now consistently producing according to Demeter guidelines.

Torsten Jonas, who studied biology and horticulture, has been managing director of Pilzgarten GmbH since 2004 and was happy to report on his experiences with SelectLine and Viebrock.

Torsten Jonas:
